Herb and Anita Kendze was born and raised in Saskatchewen and moved across province to provide a better future in Alberta for their family leaving Saskatchewen in 1967, making Bashaw their new home. Herb worked as a grain buyer for Pioneer until they moved to the Harmattan area just west of Olds in 1971 were Herb started a small diary operation. After diarying for a few years Herb decided to move his interest to grain and cattle which led into a small feedlot.
Mark Kendze was raised just west of Olds operating a 1000 head feedlot and grain farming on the family farm. Mark branched off in 2010 by selling out the feedlot and grain equipment to focus on the cow/calf industry. After meeting Deborah they decided to focus on the purebred industry and started their small herd of Purebred Charolais and mixed commercial herd.
Deborah Kendze native to South Africa worked as a dental assistant, lived in the U.K. for two years. Immigrated to Canada in 2000 moving to Langley, B.C. making it home for five years. Venturing through the Rockies to Calgary, A.B. show jumping was her way of life until meeting Mark in 2010.
We have five beautiful children, Ocean is the oldest of five children, Kai and Mason
are twin brothers, Grayson and Chloe are the younger twins. Five kids and four years later we have grown our numbers and enjoying life and the opportunities that the cattle industry has blessed us with.
